WELCOME TO OUR WATER SKI JUMPING SPORTS PAGE!
Jump water skiing is a water skiing sport were participants use two skis and are pulled by a motor boat over a ramp. Since it is quite challenging to hit the ramp, skiers are typically given a maximum of three tries to go over the ramp in a competition.
Water ski jumping is one of the most exciting elements of a water ski show and is consistently a crowd favorite.
Hitting the ramps from 30 to 60 mph, these daring athletes perform aerial feats like 360 degree spins, distance jumps, front flips, and back gainers. Performers usually ski in groups of four plus during a given routine. Jump teams often add to the excitement by having skiers cutting and weaving under the acrobatics taking place overhead.
